About Us

Our founding engineer Harikumar, during his tenure as the chief control system engineer in a Control System solutions company, was instrumental in establishing a lab and creating test procedures to become the first company to perform control system repairs. With his background in Industrial Electronics Engineering with a specialization in control systems, he became the go-to guy for many service providers. He was later joined by another control system engineer James T who brought with him more than 15 years of control system engineering experience. After years of collaboration with engineers and many companies, it was evident that in a shifting business scenario where companies started placing profits over quality, there was space for a quality-oriented company. The idea was that by directly dealing with the customer, we could understand their unique needs and come up with solutions that are quality oriented as well as economical. With the goal of directly reaching the end user, Direct Turbine Controls was formed in 2018 as a collaboration of control system engineers, field service engineers, and administrative professionals. Since its inception, DTC’s (Direct Turbine Controls) mission has been to provide exemplary component-level support for companies, thereby saving them time and money and enabling them to be competitive in their field.

Our focus is to bring our engineering expertise directly to the customer through a direct channel to our technical team. Formed by a group of engineers with more than 20 years of expertise in industrial electronic component level repair services and with extensive experience in the test and repair of GE control systems, DTC now offers industry-leading independent repair services.
