DS200PCCAG6A CB- POWER CONNECT BOARD
DS200PCCAG6A CB, The PCCA board generates firing pulses for the bridge SCRs under control of the exciter voltage or current regulators. The Power Connect board (DS200PCCAG6A) provides the
interface isolation between the power thyristors and the main processor firing circuits. The gate pulse generator output is coupled through 5PL to the gate pulse transformers on the DS200PCCAG6A.
The Power Connect Card DS200PCCAG6A interfaces the SDCC circuitry to the SCR power bridge. The PCCA includes RC snubber networks that protect the SCRs. The snubbers connect across the SCR in the control core. The PCCA generates SCR firing pulses through its onboard pulse transformers. The PCCA connects to the DCFB via 5PL and to each bridge SCR via 1FPL through 6FPL. See sections 6-13 for I/O information and board drawing. Refer to GEI-100161 for configurable hardware information.
BOARD IDENTIFICATION
A printed wiring board is identified by an alphanumeric part number imprinted on it. For eg. the DS200PCCAG1B marked with part number:
DS200DCFBG#ruu
The DS200PCCA portion is the base number that identifies the printed wiring board. In this case, the Power Supply Board. The r and u digits are alphabetic characters that indicate the board revision level. The r digit reflects a functional change that is not downward compatible. It is essentially a new catalog number. The u digits represent revision levels that are downward compatible.
The G# identifies a group, which is a variation of a particular board.
The PCCA board has only one group, G1. Board ID Fig:
